Marney Babbitt-Pierce
Council Member, Town of Clarkdale

Marney serves on the Town Council of Clarkdale, AZ and has 10 years of non-profit experience. She has served as staff and a board member for 11 national and Northern Arizona non-profits. She is most proud of her tenure as Council Director of Girls on the Run of Northern Arizona, a program of North Country HealthCare. In her role, Marney trained and supported volunteer coaches, and engaged donors who change the world one girl at a time; growing the program by 40% in five years.

Born and raised in Flagstaff, Marney lived in 5 states before understanding that Arizona is where she really wanted to be. She holds a Bachelors in Psychology from Trinity University (TX) and a Master of Education from the University of South Carolina. Marney has been honored by the Greater Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce with the Athena Young Professional Award and by the NAU College of Public Health.
